Sarah and Ronnie had a wedding that was a boatload of fun and full of surprises. Their wedding was held at Temple Emanuel in Newton. As is traditional for an Orthodox Jewish wedding, they each got ready separately surrounded by friends and family.
Sarah was whisked away to the bride’s reception and Ronnie finished his preparations before the groom’s reception where the ketubah was signed. [UPDATE: I forgot to mention that the ridiculously talented Maine Wedding Photographer, Andree Kehn, helped me shoot this wedding. During the getting ready she stayed with the guys to get these great shots.]
Musicians and the men in the wedding led Ronnie to the bride’s reception where he veiled Sarah in the Bedeken Ceremony.
A touching marriage ceremony immediately followed.
And that’s when the surprises started… beginning with a ride for the couple in a unicorn-drawn carriage arranged by Ronnie’s brother. (Great job Bridal Carriage Co!)
The reception was a jubilant celebration complete with Hora dancing, inner tubes, sports attire, fire eating and amazing feats of athleticism.
And it was right about then that the clowns arrived… walking on stilts, twirling hoops, juggling balls and elevating the fun to a the next level.
There were quiet moments too, during the toasts and first dance.
The dancing ended but the evening’s fun just wouldn’t quit. Ronnie and Sarah’s friends devised a hilarious game to test the couple’s knowledge of each other.
This was truly a wedding I’ll never forget.
Congratulations again, Sarah and Ronnie!
